AER Newsletter Information ~ January 2020
Hudsonville Public Schools Annual Education Report
The Annual Education Report (AER) is designed to meet state and federal requirements for reporting to parents and communities. The report provides detailed data on state administered student assessment results, accountability results, teacher qualification information, and the state results for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
Parents and the community can access AER information for the district and individual schools by clicking
on the Annual Education Report tab on our website. If you have any questions regarding the AER information,
please contact your child’s building principal.
KIDS HEART CHALLENGE (JUMP ROPE FOR HEART)
Fundraising for the Kid's Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope for Heart) through American Heart Association has begun! Log in here to create a profile for your student so they can join in the fundraising fun! All fundraising envelopes that come home will be due back by February 10, 2020 and our Jump Rope Parties and contests will be held the week of Valentine's Day in PE class!
If you plan to help in a classroom or attend a field trip, you must complete a Volunteer Background Check. Please click on Volunteer Background Check to do so. Thanks!

Through the whole month of February, Bauer is partnering with B2 outlets- Hudsonville location (formerly Bid2benefit) in their shop2give program. Every time you bring in the attached flier or mention Bauer Elementary at checkout we will receive 15% of your total sales!
This is a great way to get some valentines gifts, spring break clothes, furniture for remodels you are craving during these dull winter months, and much more at a great price that can also greatly benefit our students with an easy fundraiser!
The Hudsonville B2 outlet store is located right around the corner at 5800 Balsam drive. So hurry on in and don’t forget to mention Bauer or bring in the flier that is coming home with your student this week! And don’t forget this special is running the entire month of February!

**THIS OFFERING IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH HUDSONVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS**
If able we are asking for $40 if your child would like to attend all 14 sessions. Feel free to have your child attend at no cost if they would like to try it out. We do have sticks/goggles. Will only need a mouthguard.
SEASON STARTS IN MARCH 2020 COST IS $150
Parental Volunteers:
WE NEED PARENT PARTICIPATION! There are many places to volunteer your time. Field prep, scheduling, game day set up, team moms, social media communication.
Without your help, the youth program will not be successful.
