So many things to be thankful for at Bauer!  BPC Secret Santa Shop, BPC Holiday Luncheon for the staff at Bauer, a beautiful Holiday Program by our students, and the Parent organized classroom parties!  Bauer is a great place to be!  WE appreciate ALL of you for your support!

PREKINDERGARTEN/KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP FOR THE 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR
There will be an optional informative meeting at Bauer Elementary, Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 7:00 pm for parents interested in enrolling their child for PreK/Kindergarten next year.  If you have a child in PreK at Bauer this year, you do not need to attend this meeting.  All current PreK students will move up to Kindergarten next year.  This is not a required meeting.  Enrollment papers will be available in the office beginning January 13, 2020.  Please call Mrs. Opple at 616-669-6824 with questions.   

ART DEPARTMENT ART PRIZE
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Hudsonville Public Schools Art Department is excited to announce that our students have the opportunity to
participate in ArtPrize 20/20!  During art class, students in grades K-12 will have the opportunity to create a small
piece of art that will be included in the district-wide collaborative work of art, "20/20 Vision." 
Please understand, students' artwork will NOT be returned to students after ArtPrize.  All pieces will be
permanently attached and Hudsonville Public Schools will retain ownership of the finished artwork after ArtPrize.
We are very excited about our “20/20 Vision” project and are thrilled to have your child participate.

HPS Early Childhood Programs -Open House Information Night for the 2020-21 School Year and Summer.
Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the Early Childhood Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Early Childhood Center is located at 5535 School Ave. (main entrance off Madison Ave.)
Programs include 3-year-old and 4-year-old Preschool, Before/After School Care, and Summer Care.
*This is a chance to gather information about the programs, meet staff, and visit preschool classrooms.  There will be NO registration this night. Registration will take place online, with the link being active January 22, 2020, at noon.
The link to register for all programs can be found through the Hudsonville Public Schools website, under the Early Childhood Programs tab.  Please note that enrollment fills quickly.

Registration ends on January 31, 2020.
Pre-K through 2nd-grade registration fee is $95.  All Pre-K through 2nd grade receive a free lacrosse stick to keep and will be provided equipment to use throughout the season.
3rd through 8th-grade registration fee is $200.

International Experience USA (iE-USA) is a non-profit high school student exchange organization approved by the US Department of State and we are seeking host families in the Hudsonville area for the upcoming school year. We have a number of amazing kids coming to study in America in the fall and we'd love the opportunity to help find the perfect fit for your family.

The Holiday Program DVDs are still available.  Please send in $15.00 cash or check (payable to WCET-TV) to Bauer's office by Friday, December 13 with your name on it.  We will send home it home with your student the following week.
