PE CARES FOOD DRIVE
Bauer student’s turned in an amazing total of 2,595 items for PE Cares! Congratulations to Mrs. Kopka’s 4th Grade class for turning in the most donations to be used to help families in need! The class will travel to Hudsonville Bowling Lanes to bowl a game and will receive a PE CARES t-shirt which is all donated by Hudsonville Bowling Lanes. Thank you to all who donated!

There was a tie last night for the Marco's Pizza Competition! The winning classes are Mrs. Kopka's 4th grade class and Mrs. VanDenend's 2nd grade class! Thank you to all who ordered pizzas!

Bauer Parent Club Marco's Pizza Night
Thursday, November 19, will be a Marco's Pizza Night! If you are looking for a simple and yummy dinner, please consider ordering from Marco's that night. You will need to inform them that you are from Bauer Elementary and the name of your child's teacher as this is a competition for a class pizza party!

PE Cares Food Drive
The 8th Annual PE CARES food drive is off to a great start! The class that brings in the highest number of items will win a PE CARES t-shirt and a bowling field trip to Hudsonville Lanes! The competition will run until November 19. In an attempt to bring in a wide variety of foods, we are asking each grade level to bring in different food groups.
Pre-K, K, and 1st: Carbohydrates (pasta, rice, crackers, cereal, etc) and soup.
2nd/3rd: Fruits and Vegetables
4th/5th: Proteins and Other (tuna fish, peanut butter, baked beans, etc.)
All: Toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.)
However, all food donations will be accepted, even if they don't fit into your category.
Thank you for your help and support in this community service project, and for taking this opportunity to teach our kids compassion and love for others!

Bauer Book Fair Week November 2-6
This is Book Fair week at Bauer! It will be open during evening conferences as well as during the day for purchases.
The hours will be:
Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
