Santa and All His Elves
The annual Santa Sale finished up this week and there were a lot of very happy shoppers! Throughout the year, Santa's Elves (i.e. dedicated parent shoppers) look for deals for our children to purchase as gifts for their families. There was a great selection for students to choose from and plenty of helpers to aide in their precious gifts. Once the gifts are purchased, more volunteers gift wrap the presents.

Bauer Skating Party
Our Bauer Parent Club has organized an all school skating party at Tarry Hall Roller Rink (3330 Fairlanes Ave., Grandville) on Thursday, December 11, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The admission is $5.00 ($1.00 rebated back to Bauer). All skate rental is $1.00 extra. Watch for the pink flyer that will be sent home with details. If you return the bottom portion of this flyer with your name on it to the ticket window at Tarry Hall that night, you will be entered in a drawing for a prize! Hope to see you there!

Girls on the Run Sign Ups Can Still Happen!
Great news! Girls on the Run registration has been EXTENDED! Don't miss the chance to register your 3rd-5th grade girl for a wonderful opportunity here at Bauer this spring. Girls on the Run is an after-school program that is held two times each week for approximately ten weeks and "educates and prepares girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living." It begins in March, and is concluded with a non-competitive celebration 5k on Friday, May 29. Last year we had a wonderful season and we hope to have even more girls involved this year! You can register online at WWW.GOTROAC.ORG. Registration has been extended through December 31. We can't wait for another fun GOTR season!

2014 ORNAMENT SALE
It's that time of year again!!
Our Bauer Elementary Leadership Team is proud to introduce our 2014 ornament sale. This year the money raised will be donated to the Caring Kids program at the Helen Devos Children's hospital.
Our Bauer Elementary Leadership Team is proud to introduce our 2014 ornament sale. This year the money raised will be donated to the Caring Kids program at the Helen Devos Children's hospital.
It costs just $2.00 to purchase one ornament, or you can buy three for $5.00, six for $10.00.
*Each ornament will have a sticker attached to it. The sticker is a homework pass for your child to use on one sheet of homework.
Ornaments are available until Dec. 12.
